It was a devastating storm. Your boat capsized and the lifeboats sank. Luckily, the life jackets worked, and you and your whole family drifted safely to an abandoned tropical island. Even though you are stranded, you've made the best of it. Actually, life isn't that bad. You've turned an umbrella into a tree house, a bucket into a stove, and a piece of wood into binoculars to search for rescuers. There's lots of food to gather from the fruit trees and fish to catch and cook. Go ahead and build your house. Then act out what a perfect day in the life of the Beach Family Robinson would be like. What would you eat? Where would you sleep in your new home away from home?
